I’ve spent my working life in two worlds: IT, where I learned how technology actually works — and hospitality, where I learned that none of it matters unless people feel looked after. Scott&Young is what happens when you put those two together and point them at the town you live in.

Here’s what I kept seeing: big companies getting transformed by technology while the businesses I know — the shops, the trades, the cafés, the people who actually make a town work — get left behind, or priced out, or sold jargon. That never sat right with me.

So this company exists to do one thing: help local businesses scale, improve and grow — with the same tools the big players use, at prices a local business can actually say yes to. That’s why every price is published. That’s why Thame businesses pay half, always. That’s why the audit is free, and why one build a quarter goes to a local cause for nothing.

This isn’t charity and it isn’t a gimmick. It’s the business I wanted to exist when I looked around my own town. Giving back isn’t a page on this website — it’s the reason the website exists.
